Located on one of the finest teroirs in the appellation, the vineyard surrounds the church in Pomerol. This family-owned estate was purchased in 1934 by the father of the present owner, who introduced modern winemaking techniques, while maintaining a healthy respect for tradition.
Made according to state-of-the-art techniques in modern buildings including a well-equipped vat room with stainless steel vats and an ageing cellar.
Ageing 18 months in French oak barrels of which one third are new every year.
Area under vine 5 hectares
A moderately intense dark ruby colour, a nose combining aromas of ripe red fruits and cherry conserve.
On the palate, this wine meets up to the expectations of its aromas: it has a round and full attack before the vanillary and toasty tastes reveal themselves.
